Nick’s journey with real estate started back in November 1989. Although new to the business, he was already knowledgeable in most aspects of the industry, learning a thing or two from growing up around his grandfather - a real estate salesperson himself from the early 60s.
Eventually, Nick bought and sold property, where he learned hands on what the process really looked like from both a buyer and seller’s perspective. In fact, his very first home purchase got him elected onto his condominium’s board of directors as Vice President for several years. Nick worked endlessly in his spare time, helping restructure the almost bankrupt building, and rebuilding its finances and infrastructure to once again have a healthy budget and reserve fund.
It wasn’t long after these achievements that Nick decided to leave his long time career in aviation and take on his new role as a realtor. While he admits the early 90s may not have been the best time to start a new career, with the country being in a recession, this difficult time taught him how to sell and manage real estate better than most others.
In 1998, Nick joined his first Re/Max office and has never looked back. He has been awarded several top distinction awards and has sold in excess of 150 million dollars worth of real estate.
Coming from a business family, the proud son of loving parents, and married with two beautiful daughters, Nick has adapted his parents’ strong work ethic to his successful real estate business. His knowledge and skills are extensive, having trained with, and consulted with, several coaching groups in the last 20 years, making his expertise in negotiating and selling properties parallel to none.
Nick’s passion for his work is apparent in his effort to ensure his clients are treated with the utmost of care. With past clients having described him as “trustworthy and knowledgeable”, Nick prides himself on giving honest and educated opinions and genuinely enjoys working with people, striving to build long lasting relationships with his clients. In fact, his business is a testament to his relationships, as a majority of his past clients continue to call him with repeat and referral business.
Nick describes the real estate industry as a strong and vital piece of Ontario’s economic growth, and maintains that all levels of government must continue to preserve a healthy real estate industry for all.
